After reading the story of Shadrack, Meshack, Abednego and the
fiery furnace, we sat quietly and looked for where we saw Jesus and what He was
saying to our hearts.
Thjis, a precious 4 year old boy, raised his hand and connected us all to
something so important that Jesus was talking to him about. He said that
“God’s heart smiles when our whole heart is His”.
Wow… yes… just yes, Papa. Our whole hearts. May our hearts be wholly Yours.
We began to talk about what Thjis had said.
Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego were people whose hearts were completely given
to the Lord. Through all things.
When they were favored and put in power,
when they were commanded to worship a statue,
and when they were being accused and thrown into
the fire.
In all these things their hearts were set on Him.
Fully given. Wholely His. In all things.
I was reminded of a recent Sunday morning gathering time we had with our whole WHO church family, and the call of Heaven among us in that time was to keep our eyes on the Lord.
Oh Father, we hear You. We are listening. We fix our eyes and our whole heart upon You. How we love You, Jesus. We adore You. We worship You. Forever be the very focus of our vision.
